The Breakdown of Our Fees
Fortune Garage does not charge you anything upfront to list your item. We work strictly on commission thus providing us with an appropriate incentive to get the most for your product. Once your item sells, we deduct both eBay fees and our commission before sending you a check for the balance.
eBay charges listing fees, including commission fees based on the item's final sale price, if and when it sells. We pay Paypal fees on the behalf of you, the consignor. Buyer pays for Shipping and Handling Fees!
Our Commission
Fortune Garage's commission is:
- 35% of the final sales price up to $500 ($.01 - $500),
- 25% on the amount above $500 ($500.01 - $2,500),
- 20% on the amount over $2,500 ($2,500.01 - $5,000),
- and 15% on the amount over $5,000.
Our minimum commission is $35 per item, so most of our consignors find our services most beneficial for items that sell for $100 or more.
